• A Member of the United States Ju-Jitsu Federation (USJJF) Senior Masters Caucus
• A Member of the United States Ju-Jitsu Federation (USJJF) Technical Committee

In 1992, he received a bravery award for restraining "a dangerous criminal armed with a machete".

In 2022 Peter was inducted into the United States Ju-Jitsu Federation's (USJJF) - 'Hall of Fame' as a 'Pioneers of Jujutsu'.

Outside of training, Peter is a Registered Osteopath, State Registered / Chartered Physiotherapist and Acupuncturist, who runs his own private clinic in Surrey, U.K.
