Kitō-ryū (起倒流) is one of the foundations of Kōdōkan Jūdō (講道館柔道). So, it is interesting to see the below, in the Kitō-ryū (起倒流) section of the Japanese language book:

'Jūjutsu Kankei Shiryō' (柔術関係史料 - Jūjutsu-related historical material) '下巻' (gekan, or ge no maki).

The amateur translation is as follows:

心氣の中のみにも限らず形へ施すてとあ雖然心

を引出して其虚を

“Not only in the mind and ‘ki’, but also in the form of the mind.

and the emptiness of it.”
